LinkedIn: 2026 predictions

What’s next for LinkedIn in 2026.

Hei (hello in finnish)!

Hope you are awesome!

This week I want to share how I got 3 Inbounds (2x CXO from Finland and one from Switzerland.) and how you can too by 2026:

LESSONS FROM THE TOP 1%

1. LinkedIn isn’t slowing down, but most people are.

This week, I received 3 inbound leads from LinkedIn. 2 from Finland, 1 from Switzerland.

All came from organic posts.
All mentioned something specific I had written.
None came from ads…

The rules of LinkedIn are changing fast.

By 2026, most users won’t matter, not because they’re not smart, but because they’re invisible.

The algorithm is shifting from “activity” to “authority.”

This newsletter gives you a future-proof plan.

Even if you’re not “famous” yet. Even if you don’t post daily.

What matters is this:

You start showing up with purpose!

2 Shifts to make before everyone else does

1. Define your micro-niche (down to the decimal).

Vague = forgettable. Specific = magnetic.

Don’t say:

“I help companies develop leaders.”

Say:

“I help mid-sized tech companies reduce turnover by 32% with targeted leadership programs.” + add a case study!

You’re not trying to attract everyone. You’re trying to attract the right ones.

Own a small space. Become unmissable in it!

2. Turn your profile into your #1 conversion asset.
Your profile is no longer your CV. It’s your landing page.

Use this formula in your headline:

  • ✅ Credibility: “Built a leadership program used by 100+ managers…”

  • ✅ Outcome: “…cut attrition by 32%…”

  • ✅ Method: “…through 1:1 coaching and playbooks.”

  • ✅ CTA: “Message me for a free outline.”

And your banner? Show logos, testimonials, or results — not landscapes or stock images.

3 Types of content that bring inbound leads (even while you sleep)

1. Tactical wins
Share what you actually did, not just what you believe in.

Example:

“This leadership pilot had 60% completion vs. the industry avg. of 22%.
Here’s what we changed: [3-point list]”

2. Credibility
Tell stories that prove your point.

Example:

“A client cried in our last session.
Not because of burnout — but because she finally saw a path forward.
Here’s what helped her feel safe enough to say it.”

3. High-value commenting
Still the most underused growth lever.

Skip the “Great post!” fluff.
Instead, write mini-masterclasses in the comments:

  • “We ran a similar strategy. One thing that worked was X…”

  • “What I’ve noticed is that Y often breaks when companies scale too fast.”

  • “What would you say to someone who’s already tried this and failed?”

These comments make people click your profile and if that profile sells your value, the lead is already warm.

P.S. You still have time. But not much.

LinkedIn is already rewarding depth. And this shift is accelerating.

You don’t need to go viral.
You need to become undeniable to the 1,000 right people.

Start now.
Pick your angle.
Refine your messaging.
Show your receipts.

And remember:

“You don’t have to be an expert to start.
But you have to start to be seen as an expert.”

I’ve seen it work.
This week’s 3 inbounds are proof.

Your future self will thank you for starting today.
